You might want to consider The Family Facts On-The-Go Organizer…
I find it a necessity to keep organized. With my oldest in Kindergarten and my four year old starting Pre-K, our schedules are beginning to fill up…
With school activities, after school activities, play dates, library story time, PTO meetings, church functions and haircuts. Add in my one year old and doctor visits and our lives get busy quick.
My kitchen calendar has names and numbers of new playmates. My office desk drawer has family addresses. You’ll find post it notes tacked here and there with my to do’s, phone numbers, and schedules. A cupboard houses some more important numbers and dates to remember.
While all this confusion can make life interesting, I sought out a better solution.
After searching and researching my options, I found Pam Socolow’s Family Facts On-The-Go Organizer & Planner.
If you’re interested in having an all-in-one tool to help successfully manage your household, this is it. You’ll have all the information you need at your fingertips in this portable, compact organizer.
Some highlights:
- 16 months of weekly calendars.
- 20 different fill-in sheets (including contact lists, insurance info, schedules, wish lists and more).
- Folders and pouches to store business cards, coupons and schedules.
It has a durable waterproof case with a six-ring binder and pen. I love how compact it is.
It’s completely customizable too. You can remove sheets, rearrange them and refills are always available at www.family-facts.com. This makes it even more useful… you won’t have to re-write important addresses, dates and numbers each year in a new organizer.
Family Facts is all about helping you get organized. Check it out. You’ll appreciate it, and your family will too.

I need to get organized because both my kids are in multiple sports now and keeping practices and games and matches straight is a whole planner by itself, not to mention my husband and myself’s schedules!
I am a MainstreamMom subscriber, and I can not even keep track of my notes I write to myself so I won’t forget anything
I need to get organized because currently I am far from being organized and I waste so much time looking for things/info because I am chronically disorganized. It is my New Year resolution: to get organized:) I’m a subscriber.
This is perfect for my New Years resolution! I homeschool my very busy daughter. Between lessons, classes, activities, playdates etc, not to mention regular household chores, activities, appointments etc. I have a lot to keep track of. I have papers, appt cards, coupons etc floating around everywhere and can’t usually find them when I need them or I waste time hunting them down. I love that you can use it year after year.
what, organized? who me??? NEVER!! I work 60 + hrs a week as a supervisor in a busy resort kitchen, and I have a nine year old daughter who is also incredibly busy. I am chronically late for everything but my job. Plus, I have a thing for handbags, and I am constantly jumping from one to another, this would be a huge help for conquering this diseaster!!
I have 4 kids to keep track of need I say more
Because I am so disorganized that half of the time I cannot find myself. I go from one room to the next and back again because I forgot what I was doing.
With 2 older boys that are always on the go and a husband that travels I desperately need to get organized. I also just started a charitable organization that connects donors with those in need so I also need to keep that organized.
I need to get everything in one place instead of having multiple locations. This sounds like a perfect solution.
Good Morning!
I need to get organized big time! I am married, work a full time job and also have a home business part-time in the evenings and weekends. I have 2 boys 14 and 12 1/2 and all their things they do as well as a busy husband. It would be GREAT to have everything at my fingertips when I need it! Seems like it would be a GREAT product to own!
Sincerely,
Stephanie P-Attleboro, MA
I have tried several methods in the past to stay organized and I’ve come close but have not yet found the solution to conquer the madness. On several occasions I have found myself standing over the shredder with a fist full of papers ready to give up. Although my children are getting older it has only gotten worse; a wedding to plan, preperation for college for both me and my son, a busy household, full time job (in safety no less), a farm to run and a husband that suffers severely from “Honey do you know where the receipts for _____ are?”
I have 3 kids.. all in school.. we are trying to payoff all our debt. I am a stay-at-home-working-mom. I run my own customer service business from my office in my Kitchen.. With that being said it necessary that I am organized otherwise we have no clean cloths and nothing to eat on time for dinner. I love this blog and am new to it but so far all of the tips and helpful ideas have been great.
Thanks again
Rebekah
To say I need to get organized is an understatement… I run a Daycare out of my home plus I have my own family to try and keep organized, you should see my calendar! It would be nice to receive this product and have everything in one place.
This looks like a great tool for getting organized! With three school age kids and multiple activities for each one, I need all the help I can get!
I need to get organized so that I cut down a bit on my snippiness towards my family. I’ve gotten MUCH better but the truth is that my disorganized ways make me frustrated with myself, and then I think my husband and kids sometimes bear the brunt of my negative attitude.

School age kids, pets, home, hardworking husband, management required that our lives run smoothly…me! Currently spending half of that time looking for this or that. Sounds like a wonderful tool!
I need to get organized because I honestly don’t know where to begin to try to organize. I run a small business and have 3 children. I am always running late, losing things, and forgetting things. Between running my business, kids, pets, and trying to manage things at home I’m at wits end. This look like it could really get me going in the right direction.
I <3 Mainstream Mom and all the great ideas it brings into my life. I need organization to keep all of our schedules and info in one convenient and portable place. My Family would be grateful that Mom has it "Together" Finally! 8 )
I need help. With 4 kids, including 2 year old tornadoes, I mean twins, I can barely keep track of how much milk is in the fridge. I need someone or something to lead me along and help me get organized. This sounds like it will be a great tool to conquer the chaos.
Hi there, I could really use some help organizing. I have 3 children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Aspergers) They are very disorganized by nature so I must be extra organized. This organizer would be a Godsend.
Connie
Hi Mainstream Mom,
I hope you pick me for the organizer give-a-way! I am a mommy to three children under 5 years old ( including a 10 month old) , a 21 yr. old in college, and with the recent passing of my father, the caretaker of my 80 yr. old mother. Talk about your “sandwich generation”! I need to get organized – stat.
Love your website,
DANA :O)
I can understand young mothers with children having to organize their day – But what about senior citizens. People think we’re not busy – we are!! I work a full-time job, interact with the public and make appointments to meet with them, attend staff meetings and other meetings, take care of my bed ridden mother, attend church, have appointments with doctors out of state and in-state, keep track of my medication, pay both my bills and my mother’s bills, arrange transportation for travel, maintain a daily diary/journal for my manager, keep track of events that I will be attending, and the list goes on. I would love to have an organizer that is in one central place that I can get to without hunting all over for those slips of paper written in haste, or having to go to my computer to look up appointments or scheduled events. I try to be organized but it is very difficult with so much going on in my life.
I need to get organized so I can make not only my life, but the lives of my family easier! With two little boys under the age of 5, I need to start getting organized Now! because soon, both of them will be in school with more things to do and keep track of. I want to teach them early how to get and stay organized in order to simplify things. There are just so many areas to become organized in that I don’t know where or how to start!
Last year, I purchased the Family Facts On-The-Go 2011 Organizer and Planner. It was wonderful! I have been searching for the 2012 version. Thus far, I have not been successful in my search. Can someone please advise me as to where and how I might purchase the current planner–or replacement pages and additional information pages for this item. Thank you.
Hi Kathy,
Sadly, she is not printing the 2012 calendar due to lack of interest. Personally, I’ve switched to a more digital version (on my Kindle Fire) which has been nice. The transition though from “paper & pen” to a more “techy” way to track my planner stuff has been slightly difficult. But, I’m managing just fine. Technology is winning. =)
